April 18th-24th

April 18th: Fed missionaries breakfast. We cleaned & I ran errands. We taught Sister Cockram, Debbie (members) and Tammy (nonmember) & a friend the 1st discussion & it went really well! They said that their preacher told them that they wouldn't know family members in heaven. Elder Sadler said, "does that make sense to you?" & they said no!
We took Bettony Bennett a birthday candy bar & had a nice visit with her. We also visited with Lee Grayson & went by to see Rebecca Guyton but she wasn't home. We went by & watered Sister Kirkland's flowers.

April 19th: we had a district meeting in Stockbridge. We inspected the 2 Stockbridge apartments & the Elder's apartment here in Jackson.

April 20th: Today we inspected apartments in Snellville, Conyers & Covington.

April 21st: Inspected apartments at Twin Oaks 3, 2 & 1 and Brockett 2 & 1. We met Jeena & Drew Wilder (from the Eufaula ward) and children for lunch at O'Charley's. It was great to get to visit with them.
Went to the doctor with a kidney infection & got antibiotics.
Had the Book of Mormon class tonight. Only Ann Owens showed up but she seems to really enjoy the class.

April 22nd: Jonesboro apartment inspections. Barry went to a service project with the Elders at a Boy Scout camp near Covington. One group built a bridge & another group moved a bridge!

April 23rd: Four more apartment inspections -- 22 in all! Barry worked on all the paperwork for apartment inspections. I cooked a meatloaf for Sunday. We found out tonight that Elder Walker is being transferred. I will really miss him.

April 24th: Went to church & found out that Sister Kirkland got home last night! We took Sister Katie Hall to church. She is in a wheel chair & can't drive & really appreciates a ride to church. We fed the missionaries & Braydon lunch (he is staying here with his Grandmother for a few weeks). Later we visited with the Huddleston's & the Knights.

Closing with a great quote from Dallin H. Oaks:  So it is that those who hold the Aaronic priesthood open the door for all church members who worthily partake of the sacrament to enjoy the companionship of the Spirit of the Lord and the ministering of angels.
