April 4th-10th

April 4th: Melissa & the kids spent the night with us & today we went to Daucet Trails & the kids loved it! It is such a beautiful, peaceful place. Today there were a lot of people there because of Spring break. We loved seeing the different animals along the trail. The snakes were very active & Kaitlyn did not was to get too close to their enclosures! I think we all enjoyed feeding the fish & turtles the most & then we had a picnic.

It was such a fun day! After they went home we visited with Connie Tillman--a very inactive member but she expressed interest in the church & wants a Book of Mormon.

April 5th: Today we went to zone conference & Elder Ericksen & Elder Mende rode with us b/c they spent the night in Jackson with Elder Waite & Walker. We enjoyed being with them. We have really enjoyed working with all the elders & sisters & we have been impressed with the training that they give at district & zone meetings. What a wonderful way to learn the gospel & learn leadership skills! Later in the afternoon we visited the Wicklunds, went by to see Andi Kirby & also the Mullenax's but they were not there so we left a note, visited with Sister Forchilli, Kevin Sanders & the Stansells.

April 6th: today is Graham's birthday & we got to talk to him for a little while! We took the Cockram's food that the Wicklund's gave us for them. We went to the Knight's & Elder Sadler & the Elders gave Sister Knight's nephew, John Moore, a blessing. It was very spiritual & we were in tears when it was over. After that we visited with Jacquie Menard & encouraged her to come to church. Went by to visit Tara Oglesby but she wasn't home.

April 7th: Got a hair cut. Got a bunch of food from the Wicklund's & took it to the Cockram's. Barry worked on the lesson this afternoon for the class & we went to class. Only Ann Owens was there but we had a really good discussion & answered a bunch of questions for her.

April 8th: went to the doctor & had the biopsy on the nodule on my neck. Afterward we went to Walmart & got some things & a couple of plants (your Dad/Papa says it's flower therapy!)
Tonight we ate supper with the Wicklund's, Kim & the missionaries. The Wicklund's & Kim really like us but we can't seem to encourage them enough to get them to come back to church.

April 9th: today Dallas is 13--a teenager! We got to talk to him for a few minutes. We went to Thelma's & watered her flowers. Sure will be glad when she gets back! We visited Duane & took him some food & fed the cats. We joined in the mission call to start our fast. President Foote has an inspiring message for us as usual. They are so awesome!!!

April 10th: today we went to church--studied & rested--cooked supper.

Elder Richard Scott taught, "Knowledge carefully recorded is knowledge available in time of need. Spiritually sensitive information should be kept in a sacred place that communicates to the Lord how you treasure it. This practice enhances the likelihood of your receiving further light".
